To the Rescue, bringing hope to the forgotten ones.
Forgotten Dog League of Amarillo is a Non-profit 501 c 3 formed by a group of Individual rescuers coming together to make a difference in the lives of homeless and at risk dogs. Our founders have the combined experience of over 50 years in rescue and are complemented with a seasoned street team and a canine trainer.
We take canines out of homeless situations, save dogs from the local animal shelter and remove dogs from dire abused situations. We are volunteer based and rely on fosters and volunteers to help bridge the gap from street to shelter. Because we’re focused on the well-being of all the canine and human members of our family, Forgotten Dog League of Amarillo's primary goal is to find the right fit for both the dog and the household. We are not a first-come, first-served rescue; our volunteers work diligently to make sure every match has the highest chance of success.
